he Gulf of Mexico as seen from the stern of the Blu Q. A fantastic sunset cruise was sponsored by the Island House, the largest and best known gay men’s resort on Key West. Lots of drink, music and great conversation.
More photos ON THE JUMP, including the Latvian hotness.

Steve, captain of the Blu Q, speaks with a pitch-perfect Texas accent and knows the waterways around the keys like the back of his hand.

And that’s Jon Allen, one of the owners of the Island House, our host on the cruise and who has gone out of his way to make us comfortable during our stay here in Key West.

Oli, one of the Latvian houseboys from the Island House. Very friendly, as you can see. OTOH ... ... several of his Latvian friends hired as go-go boys for the cruise were on strike. (Working conditions?) Too bad because Olav, wearing the grey, as you can see is absolutely spectacular. Olav’s shorts and t-shirt was G-Star Raw so he needed a raise to go shopping ...

Father Tony has not quite mastered the moped. He has better sea legs, tho.

A last look at the sun setting over the BluQ and the Gulf of Mexico. This was a fantastic cruise. Thanks to Blu Q’s Captain Steve, hosts Stephen Murray Smith from the Key West Business Guild and Jon and Martin at the Island House ... where much of the action was to be found after dinner.
